Sentient Automation and Gap Group rebuild a twin synchronous knife
sheeter.
Breaking news: The machine runs production at 300mpm.
The machine is now installed and has been
running production for a couple of weeks whilst we commission the systems. Today the machine ran production at 300mpm including
an automated palletiser and spear operated non stop delivery.
In collaboration with GAP Group Pty Ltd we
have rebuilt the sheeter including some redesign of the conveyors, field I/O, drives and automated palletiser system. Some
mechanical assemblies were also redesigned and rebuilt.
The machine has now been installed into a market leading local
company and is now running production at throughput far in excess of the machine it replaced. Together with the cut quality
this machine provides a significant benefit in speed, quality and operability to the customer.
The machine takes shape offsite as we rebuild.
